SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 — Danish Maritime Days will take place for the third consecutive year, October 24-28, 2016, and will bring together maritime stakeholders from all over the world with the objective of unleashing the potential of the global maritime industry to increase long term economic development and human wellbeing.

More than 40 independent events will focus on some of the most important challenges and opportunities that the industry is facing, under the themes of Innovation, Sustainability, Open Markets, Security and Safety.

“The program underlines that Danish Maritime Days in just three years has evolved into an international must-attend event for all those who are engaged in the future of the global maritime industry,” says Michael Soested Head of Secretariat at Danish Maritime Days. “Here you have an opportunity to get involved in everything — from free trade or LNG to the use of drones — in just one week.”

Participants from more than 40 different countries already registered for the event, which will include conferences, workshops, fairs, company visits and social events.
