Diversified Marine acquires Anchorage Launch Services

Portland, Oregon, shipbuilder Diversified Marine Inc. has acquired Anchorage Launch Services Company, a Columbia River launch service provider with over 40 years experience in water passenger transportation, cargo delivery, line handling, and ship assist services.

The acquisition unites two legacy companies deeply rooted in the Columbia River maritime community, creating opportunities for enhanced service offerings and operational synergies. By combining Diversified Marine’s expertise in vessel construction, repair, and retrofitting with Anchorage Launch Services’ launch and line-handling capabilities, the combined entity, says Diversified, will emerge as a comprehensive multi-service maritime powerhouse covering the entire Columbia River System.

The company will continue operations under the Anchorage Launch Services name, ensuring seamless service for existing customers, while benefiting from Diversified Marine’s resources and innovation.
