Image of stamp containing canal blooper has been all over Twitter
SEPTEMBER 16, 2016 — Egyptian postal authorities have made a classic stamp design blunder. A new stamp commemorating the Suez Canal contains an image of — the Panama Canal.
It’s not the first fail of its kind. Back in 2011 the U.S. Postal Service issued a Statue of Liberty stamp that used a photo of the Statue of Liberty replica sculpture at the New York New York casino in Las Vegas.
