Volvo Penta Americas to have new President

Martin Bjuve is set to take up role of President of Volvo Penta Americas January 1,2020

Martin Bjuve, currently CFO and SVP Business Office. Volvo Penta, is to succeed Ron Huibers as President of Volvo Penta Americas.

Huibers, a 26 year Volvo veteran, is moving on to another role at Volvo Penta. Planned transition date will be January 1, 2020.

Bjuve has been with Volvo Penta for 17 years and is a member of the Volvo Penta Executive Group. As SVP & CFO, his responsibilities has included the overall strategy development, as well as process and IT.

Prior to being appointed global CFO, Bjuve was based in Chesapeake, Va., for five years, first as CFO for Volvo Penta of the Americas, and later also as VP of customer support. Earlier roles include CFO Region Europe as well as responsibilities for sales of spare parts and accessories, and dealer development in the Nordic countries.
