AVEVA selected for engineering of Transpetro LPG tankers

JULY 26, 2012 — GHENOVA Ingenheria has selected AVEVA Marine for the engineering of eight LPG carriers being built in Brazil. Last September, Ghenova signed a contract with the STX Promar shipyard covering the development of the detailed engineering of the ships.

GHENOVA will use products from the AVEVA Marine portfolio (Hull, Outfitting, Cable Design) and AVEVA Global for the project.

AVEVA Marine is a set of integrated applications created specifically for the unique processes of the engineering and design of ship and offshore structures, design management and the generation of accurate production information.
