Cindy Pasentine Hull Christens FMT 3242JULY 25, 2012 —Trinity Offshore, LLC and FMT Industries, LLC have christened and launched FMT 3242, the first of ten 297 ft 6 in x 54 ft x 12 ft, 30,000 barrel tank barges in festivities held yesterday at TY Offshore’s Gulfport, Mississippi shipyard. The naming was carried out by Cindy Pasentine Hull.

The FMT 3242 is the first of what will become an entire fleet of barges that are being built at TY Offshore’s Gulfport, Mississippi shipyard.

FMT Industries, LLC, is one of the several companies within the Florida Marine Group (Florida Marine).

Florida Marine’s Chairman and CEO, Dennis A. Pasentine, says, “In the commercial marine sector, there is nothing more time honored than christening a vessel and pressing her to service. To be launching the first of ten identical vessels is that much more exciting. With TY Offshore’s keen attention to the design/build process, we’re able to report back to our customers that we’re on time and on budget. This fulfills expectations and creates confidence in the project management needed to complete the construction of the other nine barges.”
