SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 — Quantic Engineering and Logistics Corporation, Panama City Beach, FL, reports it is Eastern Shipbuilding Group’s Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) subcontractor for the recently awarded USCG Offshore Patrol Cutter contract (see earlier story).

Quantic has worked closely with ESG and all OPC Team members since the inception of the OPC program some six years ago. Its work will consist of preparation of equipment and ship system technical manuals, reliability and maintainability analysis, reliability centered maintenance, provisioning technical documentation, manpower analysis, system safety analyses, training documentation, crew training, and other ILS products.

Quantic will leverage its similar experience on the USCG WLB, WLM, and Great Lakes Icebreaker, to provide the Coast Guard with superior ILS products, so cutter personnel can safely and efficiently operate and maintain the cutter systems.

Quantic has previously worked with Eastern Shipbuilding on other projects including the OPC Phase I Preliminary and Contract Design, the FDNY Fireboats, oil field supply and workboats, and engineering projects, going back to the early 1990s.

Founded in 1990, Quantic performs ILS work for shipyards, shipowners, and marine equipment manufacturers, on Government and commercial shipbuilding contracts.
