Marine industry veteran Socha joins Baker Marine Solutions

MARCH 19, 2015—Marine assurance provider and consulting services company Baker Marine Solutions, Covington, LA, has appointed Robert Socha as Vice President Business Development for the U.S. and international operations of the company.

Prior to joining Baker Marine Solutions (BMS), Socha enjoyed a successful 16-year tenure with leading U.S. Gulf Coast shipbuilder and repairer Bollinger Shipyards as Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales, and 18-year career with leading offshore support vessel operator Tidewater, Inc. in sales for their North America and international operations in West Africa, Middle East and India.

The announcement was made by BMS President Jim Baker saying, “Mr. Socha has been in the industry for over 35 years and is well respected, bringing a great deal of industry experience that will add value to our current and future capabilities.
