The largest vessel thus far built by the Austal Philippines shipyard — the 109-meter, high-speed catamaran ferry Fjord FSTR — arrived in Hirtsals, Denmark, Sunday, ready to go to work for Norway’s Fjord Line on its route between Hirtshals and Kristiansand, Norway.

Carrying 1,200 passengers and 404 cars, Fjord FSTR will replace the Fjord Cat, doubling the capacity on the fastest sea route between Norway and Denmark, making the crossing in just over two hours.

The Fjord FSTR arrived in Denmark after a five week long journey across three oceans, through 11 time zones and after an involuntary delay at the Suez Canal. The delivery voyage included a stop in Gibraltar, where the video below was shot.
