The J.B. Moffett is equipped with CAT C18 main propulsion coupled with Twin Disc MGX516 gears delivering 600 HP each at 1,800 RPM and is propelled by by two 60 in x 50 in Troost four bladed propellers.

The vessel is equipped with one TechCrane International F60 fixed boom and one TechCrane L200 125 ton lattice boom.

The interior accommodates 43 with mess seating for 24.

Alliance Offshore believes quality personnel plus quality equipment equate to the delivery of consistent quality service to its clients and its president, Kelly B. Steele Sr., says, "this addition to the fleet only reinforces that equation."

Mr. Steele indicates that Alliance's expectations are to add at least two newly built vessels to its fleet every year over the next ten years.

Conrad Shipyard is currently working on the Moffett's sister vessel which will be named the M/V Miss Lynne and delivered later in fourth quarter 2013.

"We look forward to continuing to watch Alliance grow through this exciting time in the Gulf. They have been and will continue to be a great partner for Conrad Shipyard," says Terry Frickey, COO and VP of Conrad Shipyard.
