Triyards says buyer terminates two chemical tanker contracts

DECEMBER 29, 2017 — Singapore headquartered Triyards Holdings reports that wholly owned subsidiary, Saigon Offshore Fabrication and Engineering has received notices of termination of two shipbuilding contracts.

The contracts cover the design and construction of two chemical tankers at an aggregate contract value of $51 million.

The buyer has claimed for the reimbursement of $10.2 million paid in advance.
