InterMoor leases space at Fourchon to Halo/h1>

InterMoor Inc., an Acteon company, recently signed an agreement to lease space at its Fourchon, Louisiana, location to Halo, LLC.

Halo is a leading supplier of wire rope and industrial supplies to the marine industry; offering testing, inspection, and training services.

InterMoor is a mooring technology specialist providing solutions for rig moves and mooring services including engineering and design, fabrication and subsea installation.

Halo's facility will be built in InterMoor's 25-acre yard and will include an 11,000-square-foot warehouse and fabrication shop; a hydraulic swaging machine capable of pressing up to 3.5 inch sleeves; and seven spooling units with the largest capable of handling 300,000 pounds.

The facility will have a three million pound, 220 ft load test bed with 11 ft stroke capable of testing mooring lines and heavy-lift slings of all types and sizes.

By leasing at the Fourchon facility, Halo gains access to InterMoor's heavy lift capabilities. These include the "Cajun Lifter," an 880-ton ringer crane; two crawler cranes with 225 and 300-ton capacities; three conventional forklifts; and additional support equipment.

InterMoor's recently completed facility includes more than 1,200 feet of bulkhead waterfront dock space, a warehouse, office and training center. In addition to heavy-lift capabilities, InterMoor has storage space available to tenants.
