Trico Marine promotes Hoover

Trico Marine Services, Inc. (NasdaqGM:TRMA) has announced the promotion of Ray Hoover as Global Director of Technical Services.

Hoover joined Trico in 2003 as the manager of operations for the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

Since joining the company, says Trico, Hoover has excelled in coordinating mobilization and other critical technical services primarily in the U.S. but also in foreign locations as needed. In his new role, Hoover will oversee Trico's global technical services operations and report directly to CEO Joseph S. Compofelice.

"We are thrilled to recognize Ray's contributions to Trico and promote him to this global role," Compofelice noted. "With his expertise in this area, we will be in a stronger position to manage the geographical range and vessel diversity of dry dockings and new vessel construction around the world. This is a further recognition of Trico as one global operating company with skilled managers such as Ray leading the way for Trico to continue to provide quality services to all of our customers."

Prior to joining Trico, Ray Hoover spent fourteen years with ENSCO Marine Company in various roles ranging from port engineer to manager of operations.
