Kvichak Marine Industries, Seattle, Washington, reports that Mike Larsen is joining its Quality Assurance (QA) department. He will be responsible for the shipyard's QA plan, in process inspections and documentation control for the on-going Transportable Port Security Boat (TPSB) contract with the U.S. Coast Guard.

Before joining Kvichak, Mr. Larsen was with Aluminum Chambered Boats (ACB) in Bellingham, Washington, as a project manager for multiple boat projects with the U.S. military. When ACB closed its doors last year, he joined Kvichak assisting the project managers with contracts Kvichak acquired from ACB. He has 14 years experience in the marine industry.
