SEPTEMBER 17, 2012 — Scott Ward has joined Jensen Maritime Consultants as a naval architect in the company's new office in the New Orleans business district reporting to Jensen General Manager Sergio Fifi.

Mr. Ward comes to Jensen with a wide variety of experience in design review, project management and operations. Before joining Jensen, he worked at ABS in the machinery and hull departments. He has also worked for North American Shipbuilding as a naval architect and at Pacific-Gulf Marine as an assistant technical superintendent.

"We are confident that Scott will prove to be an asset to the Jensen team and to our clients in the Gulf," said Mr. Fifi. "He is not only an experienced naval architect, but he has had the opportunity to work on the operations side of the marine business to learn the implications and value potential of design decisions."

Mr. Ward earned a Bachelor of Science degree in naval architecture and marine engineering from the University of New Orleans.

Jensen, which is headquartered in Seattle and also has an East Coast office in Jacksonville, Fla., last month announced the establishment of a third office in New Orleans at 1515 Poydras Street, Suite 2030. The company plans to hire another eight to 10 executives for a variety of positions in the new office.
