Corps contract for Conrad

Conrad Shipyard LLC, Morgan City, La., was awarded on Oct. 8, 2008, a $19,926,923 firm fixed price contract for acquisition of a 250 feet crane barge for the Montgomery Point Lock and Dam Project. Work will be performed in Morgan City, La., with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2010. Bids were solicited via the Web and one bid was received. Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (W912BU-09-C-0001).
