June 12, 2008 India's ABG adds to ordersIndia's ABG Shipyard has won newbuilding orders for an AHTS and for an oceanographic vessel. The AHTS order, worth about $29 million, is a 72 m, 132 tonne bollard pull unit for Italy's Marnavi. The oceanographic vessel vessel order, worth about $41.5 million, is for India's Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIRI). To be used by the National Institute of Oceanography, it is to be an 80 m, 1,800 dwt vessel.
