It will be headed by Jose Arana Sr. and his son, Jose Arana Jr. The team has 15 years of experience in the yacht brokerage business and knowledge of the Central American yachting market. "Mexico City is a center for Central American wealth. It reflects our interest in reaching one of the international markets we have targeted for development," said Whit Kirtland, president of Merrill-Stevens' Brokerage Division. Significant plans are moving forward to upgrade and expand the Merrill-Stevens full service shipyard to a state-of-the-art facility with two acres of undercover facilities and a 2,000 ton lift (accommodating up to 250 ft yachts) on the north side of the Miami River. |
