August 27, 2007 Daewoo to build $149 million floating dock With demand for containership's soaring Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. is to add capacity by building a new floating dock Daewoo Shipbuilding will invest 140 billion won ($149 million) to 150 billion won in constructing the floating dock, which will be 438 meters long and 84 meters wide. Planned completion date is September 2009, the company said in a regulatory filing.
