Bollinger to keynote at Workboat Show opening event

Donald T. "Boysie" Bollinger, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., will be the keynote speaker at the opening Shipyard Day event on November 29, at the upcoming International Workboat Show in New Orleans.

He will be discussing the health of Gulf Coast shipyards as they recover from Hurricane Katrina.

Boysie has a distinguished record of public service that includes serving as the Chairman of the Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA). He is a member, of the Louisiana Recovery Authority and the Bring Back New Orleans Commission, both of which are involved in the rebuilding of New Orleans and Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Bollinger Shipyards is a family-owned business established in 1946 by Boysie's father. Headquartered in Lockport, Louisiana, it has 12 divisions in Louisiana, one division in Texas, and activities extending into the international market.
