Retlif acquires RSI
New sign at RSI

Retlif Testing Laboratories, has acquired Radiation Sciences, Inc. (RSI) of Harleysville, Pennsylvania. RSI will do business as a wholly owned subsidiary of Retlif.

"The acquisition of RSI's expert staff, testing equipment and 15,000 square foot testing facility greatly enhances our scope and depth of services," commented Retlif President Walter Poggi. "It enables Retlif to offer greater military, EMI/EMC, lightning and Environmental solutions to clients throughout a much larger portion of the country. We will now offer in-house TEMPEST testing, as well as expanded homeland security services and expanded CE Marking. Also, the acquisition enables us to bring greater EMI medical device testing and expanded radiated immunity testing to a new geography."

Based in Ronkonkoma, New York, with an additional laboratory in Goffstown, New Hampshire and representation in Washington, D.C., 28 year-old Retlif is Long Island's largest independent laboratory providing both electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental simulation (ES) testing.

"As a subsidiary of Retlif, RSI clients will benefit by greater access to additional testing and advanced engineering services," noted Daniel J. Signore, founder and President of RSI. "I look back with pride for what we have accomplished as RSI and to the future with enthusiasm for what we will accomplish with Retlif."

Signore will continue in an advisory role, assuring a smooth transition.
