March 7, 2006 Court move to block DP World takeover fails
Britain's Court of Appeal yesterday day heard and rejected EllerŐs application for permission to appeal against the CourtŐs decision to sanction the acquisition of P&O by Dubai Ports World. The takeover plan now becomes effective tomorrow and P&O's stock will be delisted from the London, Tokyo and Australian stock exchanges on Thursday.
