July 6, 2006 Island Offshore orders PSV's Aker Yards has signed a contract with Sneingen AS to deliver two UT 755 LN platform supply vessels. The value of the contract is approximately NOK 320 million (about $51.3 million). Sneingen AS is a unit of Island Offshore Group in which Edison Chouest Offshore is a partner. The hulls for the 74 m x 16 m platform supply vessels will be built in Romania and the vessels will be outfitted at Aker Brevik, Norway. Delivery is scheduled for May and July 2008
