July 3, 2006 Wartsila acquires injector specialist Wartsila has acquired German service company INTEC Injectortechnic GmbH from the four persons owning and managing the company. The Hamburg-based company specializes in fuel injection equipment, providing installation and services of injection components for marine diesel engines. The annual net sales are approx. EUR 3 million and the number of personnel is 17. Wartsila says the acquisition strengthens its competence in the area of this important engine technology. The company became a part of Wartsila on July 1, when the deal was closed.
