August 10, 2006 Floods close Indian shipyard India's largest private shipyard, ABG Shipyard Ltd, has told the Bombay Stock Exchange that in view of the heavy rains and prevailing flood situation of the river Tapi, which is adjacent to the company's shipyard at Magadalla, Surat, and considering the safety, the company has closed the yard until conditions return to normal.
