Navy places $10.7 million RIB order

United States Marine Inc. of New Orleans, La. is being awarded a $10,693,746, firm fixed priced contract for five Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) detachments. The work will be performed in New Orleans, La. and is expected to be completed by May 19, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Each detachment will consist of two craft, two trailers, two trucks, one lot of Detachment Deployment Package parts, personal crew outfitting items and support documentation. Three lots of Shore-Based Spares will also be delivered to support the Egyptian Navy under this USSOCOM PEO Naval Systems contract.This contract was awarded as a foreign military sales buy per FAR 6.302-4 International Agreements. The contract number is USZA22-03-D-0003, Delivery Order 0028.
