January 18, 2005 New MSP line-up According to the Seafarers International Union, on Friday, the U.S. Maritime Administration officially notified companies of Maritime Security Program (MSP) contract awards. Interesting inclusions in the list are three Maersk tankers to be operated by OSG. They are thought to be "placeholders" for three ships that would be built at Kvaerner Philadelphia under the apparently stalled National Defense Tank Vessel Program. Reportedly, the following are the companies awarded Maritime Security Program (MSP) contracts for 2005-2016. APL Marine Services, Ltd.
