February 15, 2005 Kidnapped Turkish shipbuilder released According to BBC and other reports, Kahraman Sadikoglu, who owns the Istanbul-based Tuzla Shipyard, was yesterday freed by kidnappers after his family paid a large ransom.. After his abduction he appeared in a video saying he had been clearing sunken ships from Iraqi harbors. A Turkish press report says his family paid $500,000 for his return.
