Keppel Verolme buys graving docks from Port of Rotterdam

Keppel Verolme, part of Keppel Offshore & Marine, is buying its three graving docks from the Port of Rotterdam for Euros 10 million.

The port took ownership of the graving docks from Verolme Botlek in 2000. Keppel O&M subsequently acquired Verolme Botlek in 2002.

The graving docks include one of Europe's largest dry docks with a length of 405 m and breadth of 90 m.

Harold Linssen, Managing Director of Keppel Verolme said: "We would like to thank the the Port Authority for their support all this time to KV. The purchase of the docks indicates that Keppel O&M has confidence in the future of the maritime and offshore sector in Northern Europe."
