Management change at Aluminum Chambered Boats
Larry Wieber has stepped down as CEO of Aluminum Chambered Boats, Inc. (ACB), which he founded in 1998, but continues on the board of the Bellingham, Washington, boat builder.
"Larry is a great visionary, created an exceptional product, and leaves ACB with many successes which we will continue to build on," comments Jim Moore, President/COO
Mr. Moore will continue to lead the company and is pleased to report that ACB had a record year in 2009 with a positive bottom line. "There is a bright future for ACB in all segments of our company -- government, recreational, law enforcement, and commercial," he says.
ACB has recently been awarded two government competitive down-select contracts for the U.S. Army Bridge Erection Boat, and the U.S. Coast Guard Transportable Port Security Boat. In addition, ACB had a successful launch of its new recreational boat, the 2500 Explorer, and has delivered several law enforcement vessels to customers including Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police, Stratford, Connecticut Police, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
