Rolls-Royce opens new marine service centers
Rolls-Royce has opened two new marine service centers in Galveston, Texas, and Seattle, Washington. They are part of a global marine services network, headquartered in Singapore, that includes facilities in 32 countries and employs more than 1,000 support staff, engineers and technicians around the world.
The new 40,000 sq.ft Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine service center in Galveston will provide state-of-the-art repair and overhaul expertise in support of the company's entire portfolio of marine products to customers throughout the Gulf of Mexico region.
The new Seattle service center is nearly four times larger than the previous Rolls-Royce facility it replaces and is located at Todd Shipyard.
