MSC paints with PPG

PPG Protective and Marine Coatings, Alexander, Ark., has won a contract for the supply of paint products and services worldwide to the Military Sealift Command fleet. It includes options which, if exercised, would bring the total contract value to $47,260,200. The initial award $9,515,570 indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with firm fixed price orders Work will be performed worldwide and is expected to be completed by Jan. 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured, with four offers received. Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-09-D-8010).
