Jordan to build patrol boats?
Jordan's King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) is to joint venture with RiverHawk Worldwide LLC to establish Jordan RiverHawk Shipbuilding and Support, PSC to manufacture, market and supply AMP-137 Advanced Multi-mission Platform Vessels and provide training and service and maintenance on each vessel sold.
King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) was established in 1999 to supply scientific and technical services to the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF). It describes itself as "an independent Governmental military-civilian agency existing within the Jordan Armed Forces" and as a "Jordanian research and development facility created to provide a one-stop solution for the supply of defense and commercial equipment optimized to the requirements of the Middle East."
RiverHawk, with offices in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, describes itself as "a diversified investment firm that organizes and invests in various companies focused on national defense, security and military technologies, products and services and provides merger, acquisition, divestiture and related corporate finance services to these various companies."
