Conrad wins patrol/fireboat contract

Morgan City, Louisiana, based Conrad Industries, Inc. has won a $2.8 million contract to build a 90 ft x 25 ft x 11.5 ft Multi-Purpose High Speed Patrol and Firefighting vessel for the Plaquemines Port, Harbor & Terminal District in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

The triple screw vessel will be built at the Conrad Aluminum facility in Amelia, Louisiana.

Johnny Conrad, Conrad's President and CEO commented, "We are excited to add an aluminum multi-purpose high speed patrol and firefighting vessel to our backlog. We are pleased to participate in this market, where we believe there exist future opportunities to build similar vessels."
