Kvichak delivers first yacht hull

Kvichak Marine Industries, Inc., Seattle, recently constructed and delivered a 92 ft sportfishing yacht hull to LeClercq Marine. Designed by Jack W. Sarin Design, the complete aluminum hull fabrication includes: hull, integral tanks, shaft and rudder penetrations, and the bow thruster tunnel.

The yacht is destined for a Caribbean customer.

Kvichak delivered the hull to LeClercq for final completion and outfitting.

While Kvichak is well-known for their commercial aluminum vessels, this is its first yacht hull delivery since a 2003 decision to enter the market.

"We see this as an exciting, dynamic start to supplying and fabricating sub-components to the yacht industry," says Art Parker, Kvichak's sales manager.

Kvichak sees its entry into the yacht market as a supplier-builder relationship.

"We have no intention of competing with yacht builders," said Parker. "We actually see this as a low-risk option for builders to provide their customers with high quality aluminum hulls and superstructures on firm price and delivery terms."

With over 20 years of experience constructing commercial aluminum boats, Kvichak offers yacht hulls that meet or exceed the highest quality yacht standards for hull fairness.
