As president and chief operating officer for Holland America, Kruse will report to A. Kirk Lanterman, chairman and chief executive officer. "Stein has ably assisted us in managing our rapid growth with strong operational performance. In his new role he will further assist me in setting and executing the future strategic direction of Holland America Line."
At the same time Lanterman announced David Giersdorf's promotion to executive vice president, marketing and sales for Holland America Line, reporting to Kruse.
