Virginia class announcement delayed
The Defense Department yesterday canceled a news briefing by Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research Development and Acquisition John Young. He had been expected to announce a contract for the next five to seven Virginia-class submarines.

No reason for cancellation of the briefing was given.
